The analysis of rationality the use methods of segmentation 
in procedures processing biomedical images is conducted 
in the article. The lacks of existent methods are determined. 
The areas of medicine, in which the possible use the method 
grow areas and method morphological watershed, are determined. 
The method of segmentation, which unites these two methods, is offered. 
Examples of processing medical images are made by the noted all methods. 
Researches were conducted by a design with the use of the program Matlab.
