In work the opportunity of increase of efficiency of compression of the images with the help of division of objects both background and coding them with various visual quality is considered. The offered method allows maximum to keep useful a part of the image and to raise a degree of compression for the account by stronger компрессии of area of a background. The division of the image into two classes (objects and background) is made through vavelet-transformation. The offered algorithm builds a bit plane, which contains the information on an arrangement of objects on a plane of the image. The processing of the allocated areas is carried out through the classical circuit of a JPEG-format on the basis of discrete cosinus of transformation.
