Qualitative recognition and perception of visual information that contain digital 
face patterns expects the thorough research in the field of automatic extraction 
of face features. Face recognition technology evolution and ultimately the successful 
solution of this problem depends on quality of preliminary image analysis that 
solve such important problems as face detection, determination of the face image scale, 
angles of view. In the article is offered
the method that allows determining the parameters described above during face
detection process based on the creation of images pyramid.
