Referator Automatic Summarization and Indexing System.

Referator System is meant for processing texts in natural languages. The means of automatic summarization allow for dividing a text into semantically integral fragments reflecting the major topics of the text and identifying the most informative ones. Using the system you will be able to easily and conveniently make text summaries and create their indexes.
The summarizing and indexing functions can be used for:

Building topical summaries according to the topics of the document;
Building a general summary using key words;
Building summaries on the topic suggested by sample texts;
Subject matter analysis of text flows.

The system employs original heuristic algorithms of morho-lexical analysis, which allows for identifying grammar features of new words.
The indexing subsystem enables identifying the text topics and structural elements. After making up a topical profile of a text one can set the topical criteria for selection. It allows for building topical summaries based on the subject matter of a text, building a general summary, building summaries on the topic suggested by sample texts. The support of the cataloguing system makes it possible to store results in a data base.
